Trade marks
Under a trade mark you can protect the signs you use to distinguish your goods so that they are perceived as such on the market. Registration of such signs confers exclusive rights.
As proprietor, you alone have the authority to use the trade mark. You have the right to prohibit any third party from identifying goods that are identical or similar to yours by means of a trade mark that might be confused with yours. Your trade mark can also be covered by a contract: for example, you have the possibility of selling it or of granting licences in it.
